CAD-Editor
CAD-Editor
The CAD-Editor is a
sophisticated 2D- and 3D tool that makes building parts accessible and editable.
The data transfer from different
CAD-programs is very flexible due to various import and export possibilities
(from DXF/DWG through DGN to IFC-data) and it gives substantially higher level
of utilization of existing data than it is usual. Who doesn't need a CAD-Editor,
it is enough to have an access through CAD-Viewer or an Internet browser
(see WebServer).
CAD-Editor offers the following
characteristics:
- Free to define objects
- Edit usual drawing formats
- Link/connection to the
building information system
- Layout creation for documentation
- Calculation of
living/effective areas
- Groups and object libraries
Free to define objects
The Work with intelligent objects significantly
simplifies and accelerates the planning process. The basic structure is composed
of building panels and -components written in GDL (Graphic Description
Language) with changeable parameters. You can change the parameters of provided
building panels any time. Even at self made objects the user can determine which
attributes/characteristics should the object have, which of these should
have changeable parameters and which parameters should be transferred directly
to the database.
Usual drawing formats
The CAD-Editor disposes over
extensive import- and export options/possibilities of all usual CAD-data formats (DGN, DWG, DXF, IFC, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, GIF).
It is even possible to transfer/adopt and edit referencing (XREF) from
AutoCAD-data.
Building information system
With the unique RealSync?
technology all changes, modifications, corrections or deletions performed in the
graphics are entered/inserted immediately into the building information system
as well. This synchronization is bi-directional. It can be started/launched
optionally automatically or manually.
Documentation
With the integrated PlotMaker
you can generate layouts for documentation or exposés fast and simple. Here you
combine different plans/layouts, elevations, section/slices, perspectives or
even photos to an overall plan and print it in any demanded scale.
Living- and effective areas
Various calculation-functions
deliver quick results whether you need a DIN-compatible living- and effective
area calculation or a BGF calculation. Few mouse-clicks are enough and you have
the demanded result in your hand.
Aggregation to groups
With simple
aggregation/grouping-functions you can group objects together. After grouping,
select an individual element/panel e.g. of a workplace and move/displace it - of
course the complete grouped workplace follows it.
